What Tips Are There for Eating on a Cruise?

These dining venues are included in the cost of the cruise yet may require reservations for dinner. Windjammer is also the better bet if you’re trying to grab a bite without getting all dressed up. But though you might be dining comfy in a t-shirt, the food is still dressed to impress no matter what time of day you choose to stop by. Come breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’re in for a sprawling buffet of tantalizing and beautifully displayed global flavors. However, you will be charged a service charge of around $8 for your order.

Please be aware that brewed, as well as specialty coffee and tea served in the International Cafe is not included, and has an additional charge. On sea days, Princess cruise ships have a British Pub Lunch which is often served in the Wheelhouse Bar. The catch is you might have to wait for a table, and you might not be able to get the table size you want at the time you want. If you don’t want to eat in the buffet or public area, you can take food back to your cabin and eat it there. At the buffet, you can make a plate with snacks or even a larger meal.
